And please remember: Kittens are cute but adult cats are wonderful also.
With adults, it's WYSWYG, "what you see is what you get" so you'll know
their temperament,
very important for a lot of people. We rescue many adult
cats at the shelter, many relinquished by owners who are moving to a place
where pets are not allowed. These are wonderful companions who have
many good years ahead of them and are VERY deserving of a good home.
Come see, you'll agree!

Crockett is one cool cat and not just because he likes to sleep in the sink. :-)  A gorgeous orange and white tabby,
about 2 years old, he is definitely in love with people. Currently being fostered, we're told he is always around you,
sometimes walking between your feet, so we think he might be better with a family that is nimble and quick, ready
to entertain this guy. His foster parents think he would be deliriously happy with young people to play with, hang
around with.
*** However, Crockett does get so eager to play he's been known to climb right up someone's pant
leg to get to the action so, though he does well with the teenage boys in his foster family, young children could be
scratched or just over powered by him. He's a big guy and a smart fella who does NOT like to be bored with
nothing to do. And is that not
THE cutest face you've ever seen? The rest of him is also, trust us on that!

As you can see, Crockett makes himself comfy everywhere. And have you EVER seen a cuter face?

It's
SUCH
fun
being a
kitten!"
Good golly, it's Miss Molly! A young lady of about a year old, she has the loveliest light
orange/blonde fur that is very soft and is accented with white. She adores humans,
the verdict is still out on cats. A great "me only" cat and lap warmer, come see if you
find her as appealing as we do.
Maizy is white with beautiful accents of light and dark gold - that tail is magnificent!! - you couldn't ask for a lovelier or more loving cat.
We think she's about 2 years old.  She dotes on your sole attention with no competition and would make a great lap cat for an older
family. She's pretty and sweet and needs out of her cage and into a home, please?
Bogie has come back to us, and there's a lot more of him
now, a whopping 15 pounds of Bogie. He had a very good
home where he was loved and well taken care of, but at 13
years of age, he, like most senior cats (and often humans),
would rather enjoy the single life, no dogs, no children, just
being a beautiful work of art in fur, being your loving and
undemanding companion.  Bogie is a Flame Point Siamese
with the two top photos showing his beautif
ul shading, the
one to the left with those beautiful blue eyes. Yes, at 13, Bogie
is an older cat for sure, but many indoor cats live to 20 or
more. With his long fur and his age he definitely must live
inside. He eats well and is very loving. His ideal new home
would be with a single person or older couple who want this
grand old man to spend his last years surrounded by love and
respect. Would that be YOU?
Lady Blue came in with 4 kittens, had been fostered but she and her babies are
now at the shelter. . Mom is a Blue Point Siamese, and her babies are all different
and all adorable. Lady Blue is about one year old, and her kittens are not quite ready
yet for adoption but do keep checking with us as we know you'll fall in love with one
of them or maybe Mom!
Two views of regal Rajah, a lot
of guy at 12 pounds! About 2
years old, he is
incredibly laid
back and gentle, gets along
well with other cats and
appears to be cut out for a life
of Couch Potatohood as he's
very cuddly and seems to want
to be petted and adored. Oh,
he's also gorgeous.
:-) Get a
load of that tail!
Maddie, dear, dear Maddie, is a lot more cat than when she came to us!  But look at that fur. Doesn't it make you want to
reach out and ripple through it? It is SO soft and she's a roly-poly hunk of  velvety tactile pleasure. A classic black and
tan tabby about 1 1/2 years old, she was born with a short tail that is shaped somewhat like the letter T, lying flat, but it
doesn't detract from her beauty at all.  Maddie will be your "true blue buddy" but finds other cats not to her liking - though
she gets along well with Rajah, her kennel mate so maybe she just hasn't met her soul mate yet. Please give her a
chance, she really is a lovely lady who deserves a home.
Bolt is a rascally guy with one
astounding white whisker in
that field of black fur. About 2
years old, he can be very silly
and then be disarmingly shy.
Mostly, Bolt is a very happy guy
who loves attention, manages
okay with other cats but can be
overwhelmed if too many are
around (yes, you're safe behind
the bench, Bolt). He is a big guy
with lots of fun in him, a great
companion for you.
Wow! What an amazing bunch of GREAT cats here for adoption!!!
Are you really, really
sure you have enough
cats? At least one more
might be just what
you
need.
:-)
Grayson, what a love of a cat!  VERY people
oriented, he will be in your face as you sit
nearby, nosing and head butting to thank you
for your presence.. He has a distinctive voice,
rather low and "rumbly", calling to us as soon
as we go into the cat room, letting us know
HE deserves the first attention of the day. A
solid slate gray guy about 1 1/2 to 2 years
old, he will probably be the alpha cat in your
household as he has quite a personality. We
think he's very special (well, we think ALL our
animals are).
NOTE:  Grayson is now at
PetSmart in Victoria waiting for you.
